A La Leche League Leader is someone who has breastfed their own child(ren) and who enjoys helping others to do so. LLL Leaders are all unpaid volunteers. To become accredited, a La Leche League Leader is required to complete a programme of breastfeeding education, and to develop counselling and group facilitation skills. Leaders offer information, support, and encouragement in many ways: one-to-one, via social media groups, and through in-person and virtual meetings.
If you would like to learn more about becoming a La Leche Leader, come to a meeting, read the latest edition of The Art of Breastfeeding, read more here and contact us.
We hope to see you soon!
